I wait to hear Israel say Turkey's position makes progress impossible

Thus far, the negotiations appear to be ongoing.

It might be that because Israel has been negotiating with Hamas over how to lift the blockade, that Israel doesn't mind Turkey stepping in provided Israel thinks Turkey can get Hamas to agree to terms which please Israel, forgetting that Turkey shares Hamas's ideology.

I think the optimism that the deal will be scuttled is premature.
