Abbay is oursReader comment on item: Can Egypt and Ethiopia Share the Nile? Submitted by Yared Seyoum (Ethiopia), Mar 4, 2016 at 07:20 Abbay is ours! Dear Mr. Daniel Pipes, It's a nice work you have done in your writing, except your favoring Egypt more. As a historian scientist you know it's in both Egypt & Ethiopia where ancient civilization began. The British government has never signed an agreement on behalf of Ethiopia, as she was an independent state. The 1929 & 1959 agreements was signed with the colonial countries, giving Egypt veto power on Nile basin countries. Ethiopia was out of it. The only agreement Ethiopia signed is the 1902's " Anglo Ethiopia Treaty " where Britain signed on behalf of Egypt. Abbay is our's, if we suddenly awake or not !!! Yared Seyoum.
