The FutureReader comment on item: The Threat of Radical Islam and the Future of the Eastern Mediterranean Submitted by Guy Willson (United Kingdom), Mar 16, 2017 at 18:42 Remember it was a Turkish president (Kemal Ataturk) that abolished the Caliphate of Sunni Islam so don't be surprised if the dictator of Turkey sees himself as the new Caliph, perhaps taking a leaf out of IS notebook and stirring up the desire to 'take' Europe for Allah and his prophet. The trouble for Europe is that it is fully committed to appeasing Islam by any means possible, partly in the hope that Muslims will be a bit 'nicer' to them and partly in fear of a popular vigilante backlash by the non-elite masses in the EU. The only solution is Christ but that is not what a secular people want to hear; either the Elite of the EU or the non-elite masses. However, history records that those nations and peoples that have called on Him have been delivered - especially Britain, who have led the way in this and followed by the USA. We Bible-believing Christians will continue to pray for Israel to be blessed and to understand more about their ha-Mashiach. So let's see how events pan out. Guy Willson
