Bible-believing Christians must love the Jewish people

Dear Daniel and Michael S.

I can understand your surprise because if you view the BBC and other TV in Britain you can be forgiven for your view. I would agree that Britain is in a really bad state in that they have rejected God and His order and now, through continual media (and fake science education) imput, believe they evolved from monkeys and apes; hence the reduction of a social moral code. However, history shows that revival and awakening has occurred many times in Britain's history and that has been a great benefit to the world.

As regards Himmler and the German people up to 1945; the notion that the Germans being Christians is not really good, similarly the statements that Christians drove the Berbers out of Spain. No! it was the Spanish people. Similarly the view that Christians attacked Jews as 'Christ killers', no! It was the Roman Pontiff and Catholic Church. Believe it or not but Catholics have murdered hundreds of thousands of Christians during their temporal rule between 500AD and 1600AD. Rulers of 'protestant' nations did the same in order to control 'church' and through them the people.

However Jesus said 'By their Fruit shall ye know them'(Matt 7:20) and that holds good for any belief system.

You mentioned Himmler's views on sub-humans (untermensch) and you are right. Darwins Theory of Evolution as initiated by his book Origin of Species by Means of Natural Selection, or the Preservation of Favoured Races in the Struggle for Life led to his cousin Francis Galton's eugenicist theories which were enthusiastically received by the German scientific and medical profession. (so did many in the USA like the Rockefeller Foundation) In 1909 the Kaiser Wilhelm institute fur Rassenhygiene set up with Galton's help. This institute established 'scientific' theories about the importance of racial hygiene while Hitler was still picking his nose in the back of a schoolroom and Himmler was only 9!

The idiocy of Nazi theory was wholeheartedly accepted by the German people by 1939, yet they saw Jews as inferior instead of a blessing to whatever nation they lived in. They are the most able and competent people in history a fact that Winston Churchill acknowledged. (he was a supporter of Israel too) I believe that it is a good thing to study what Jesus said about identifying who are Christians and those who simply play religion! My own mother was in the Dutch Resistance at Arnhem (bridge too far) during the war and is well aware of the anti-semitic culture that thrived in the early part of the 20th Century. Documents like the Protocols of Zion was a conspiratorial theorists dream but many foolish and gullible people believed it. It seemed as if Satan was stirring up the nations against the Jewish people for a final attempt to annihilate them before God returned them to the land He gave them by covenant with Abraham. My mother was caught by the Gestapo and sentenced to death by firing squad - it was in March 1945 and the Allies had severed the link to Ravensbruck where women were normally sent. My mother received Christ as Lord and Saviour in 1938 and at this time in a Gestapo dungeon in a steel locker awaiting the firing squad she was terrified until an angel from the Lord was sent to her to state 'you will not be shot by the firing squad' So the Germans completely forgot about her and then the Canadians came up on Lunteren and the Gestapo and SS fled. So my mother was freed otherwise I would not be here to record this. So the German theories were based on Darwin's Theory of Evolution as indeed were Stalin's only his selection for extermination was not by race but by failure to 're-educate' and he had them worked to death in the Siberian Gulag. Humans are wonderful aren't they ! ! !

Lastly, Michael, there is an excellent book on this subject The Rabbi From Burbank by Rabbi Isidor Zwirn. God has made His will very very clear to Christians Rom 11:17-24. To us the nation of Israel and after the exile, the Jews, carried the Oracles of God and we MUST honour them for that. The world must take note of this fact that it is a very bad idea to persecute the Jews. Also in case people think that Paul was an anti-semitic Jew they should look at the NT scriptures and they will quickly discern that he was writing about persecuting Judaizers and not the Jewish people per se. I love the Jewish people even though they are like the rest of humanity, imperfect sinners needing salvation; but I love them and their family love and the warmth of Jewish people. So Bible-believing Christians will pray for the Jewish people and in times of conflict we will care for them like Corrie ten Boom did in Harlem during WW2.
