Simple Solutions Are Often the BestReader comment on item: Poll: Israelis Want Victory Submitted by Ilbert Phillips (United States), Jul 12, 2017 at 11:41 You will note that since the war in 1948, Israel has essentially been denied victory by the international community that implements "cease fires" or truces. Agreeing to agree later has been the modus operandi. This clearly does not work in Israel's favor since it gives the Muslims an opportunity to attempt to win the war by propaganda and resolutions in the UN, which give the illusion of victory for the Muslims. In addition, the Palestinians get money and weapons to attack Israel again, without fear of Israel coming in taking over the territory again. In the long run, more innocent lives will be lost and Israel will continue to fight from a psychological disadvantage, i.e. these mini-victories are no victory at all.
