Form of Islam or component of Islam?

Most Muslims, hopefully, do not feel strongly in favor of the rabid anti Semitic and misogynistic and anti western parts of Islam. However, these ideas are a part of Islam, not a form of it, I think. This distinction is important in order to deal with terrorism effectively. It is reverse racism to set the bar so low and think it impossible for the vast majority of Muslims to disavow these attitudes.
