Party On!Reader comment on item: President Trump's "Ultimate Deal": Is Israeli-Palestinian Peace Possible? Submitted by Dajjal (United States), Jan 28, 2018 at 18:53 Our founders were adverse to partisanship. They could find no means to avoid them and no substitute. While each party has an "establishment" and paid staffers who receive substantial emolument, the real purpose of fund raising is to carry on their propaganda and garner sufficient votes to augment and maintain their power. Once in power, LibTards seek, as you described, to perpetuate problems rather than solve them. Republicans are little better. We need an Anti-Islam Party modeled after the '64 GOP platform. Yes, single issue parties are risky, but remember the GOP began as the party for abolishing slavery.
