WHY NOT FASCISTIC INSTEAD OF COMMUNISTIC?

Most by now know America remains the greatest experiment in democracy. We also know that the fastest way to smear someone or some effort is to accuse the target as being communistic. Why do we not also attach the same sense of concern to fascism? After all, the preponderance of American industry, finance AND even major colleges and universities in the 1930s not only found Hitler and the Third Reich as profitable but also promotable right here. It was from among such folks, particularly Charles Lindbergh, that the AMERICA FIRST slogan and campaign were born and pushed...not by Donald Trump but heftily promoted by him.
