Perhaps we have procreated long enough and are too tired to smack those little brats and send them to bed. I know I am, and just want to get away leaving them to their own destructive ways. Anyone else exhausted from cleaning up after them? As I am fast approaching my end of days, its getting harder for me to care. Indeed the Teacher is correct and my love is growing cold. Do I weep for myself? or for them? It's summer here and I long for crashes of thunder and bright lightening waiting for the torrential rain to drown out their whining and complaining voices that will never be satiated.
