America's Willingness to Defend on Display

While much of the world was distracted with COVID-19 issues making incursions into ill-prepared populations and medically induced paranoias have become the rule of the day, in the background there are activities that are being ignored or other distractions are produced to keep the focus off what will be the real answer of what will happen if we are not able to contain the pandemic. Like it was one hundred years ago, war was in the winds and the influenza epidemic swept through myriad populations, killing more than all of the wartime casualties combined. There were very few that were left unaffected, including this observer's family.
But to the underlying condition; things are happening that will change the focus, even to the extent that final preparations for the final indignation are apparently almost completed, in spite of potential delays. Here, the admonition to watch Jerusalem are enjoined. Some are quoting that only a couple of months might be necessary before seeing the next series of moves.

In America, the administration of President Trump defied his naysayers and attended an off-script celebration of the virtues that had made America the greatest nation in modern history, if not the world. While the cameras were not as many as one might have thought, those that did attend with the President were given a peek at what America holds in store for those who are intent of his downfall. The flyovers speak to a military in reserve, should the need arise to push back against America's enemies, foreign and domestic. this should give thought to the idea of what happens if these resources are put into the hands of someone incapable, or worse, some that are not willing to defend America; a friend of the Communist Chinese for instance.

If not for the current incumbent, then the resolve to defend America's liberties is left to the whims of an unfocused and confused leadership that will be easily compromised in a world just begging for an excuse to remove the American influences so many have grown to hate.

Who would be willing to defend that? Likely, it will lead to the loss of the Divine provenance that once was the strength in America's defense; then all confidence will be lost when the hope, like a Divine cloud, has moved out of the tabernacle of America's strength.
