Concerned About an America We Can No longer Trust:
What; me worry?
Being an American in this frame of time is going to be characterized by how one sees American citizenship under a 'transformed' governance, now that a 'democratic' party (term now used lightly, since the democratic party reference is not the same as was used for the Kennedy, Johnson, or even Carter administrations, none of which were made out to be more like the 'democratic' government of the former East Germany that the 'socialist' squad seems bent on bringing to America now. Pessimistic; not a word that in all my years as being an American would I have applied to the domestic fortunes now besetting America; likely because after all the history with the lifetimes of my family from the Spanish American War, through the first World war and the second; the Cold War with communist threats sending us and our childhood compatriots running for desk cover because we were in the vicinity of a Nike anti-missile site and now we are being infiltrated by the very sentiments we were warned about and should continue to be wary of: why should we be pessimistic?
The sad thing is, Vice President Biden (cannot be called -elect- yet because the college has not yet met) should have known better; and now that he could lead America to a better future than the one we are now facing, he has allowed the poison of America's historical enemies infiltrations of the mind to bring America to the brink of political extinction. And the rest of the world will wonder at America like they did when Germany fell to the allies and now had the chance to view the difference of a true democratically led governance and the Soviet aberration of centralized socialistic 'democratic' governance: not the same. Pessimistic: how shall one explain to their children and grandchildren how an ideological war was lost because the 'good' people lost their way for the sake of pride and ambition of an erudite and elitist class of disaffected Americans that fomented hatred and polluted the minds of otherwise normal citizens and set a course of destruction from which no society so affected ever survived? Why should we be pessimistic?
Meeting Begin is no credential; Arafat met Begin and how did that work out? Worse yet, is America's leadership has forgotten her credentials as a Christian nation and ask Israel how forgetting her Eternal Sovereign is working out.
