Russian Middle East Influences Lying in WaitReader comment on item: Predicting the Biden Administration in the Middle East Submitted by M Tovey (United States), Feb 12, 2021 at 11:22 Internal issues in Russia are beginning to show cracks to the outside as European pressure to compel Russian authorities to alleviate the political prosecution on political opposition leaders and the now apparent unrest of citizens who are afraid of government pressure caused by current policies. Resulting from this is the Russian government threatening to sever ties to the EU and develop a lone wolf strategy in defending Russian interests from economical sanctions, something not lost on the historical record of 'going it alone.'
