Middle East Conflicts Pending – Abraham Accords NotwithstandingReader comment on item: Predicting the Biden Administration in the Middle East Submitted by M Tovey (United States), Jan 20, 2021 at 13:10 Israel's Defense Posture Requires Recalibration without Depending on America: America's alliances with Israel were varied and in many instances contradictory, with staunch allies fighting for the narrative that Israel's sovereignty needs defending from her enemies like the highly charged anti-Semitism of the United Nations and the European Union, while at the same time, similar sentiments come from within the United States also, expression of such antipathies being demonstrated by defacing Jewish sites of worship and outright murder, similar antagonisms being logged in the annal leading up to September, 1939 in America. President Trump provided the exception in Israel's defense. Up until the presidency of President Trump, the tug of war about allowing Israel to govern in her own sovereign nation without all the interferences of totalitarian governments around the war trying to tell Israel what to do in their own country is somewhat comical, were it not for the hand-over-mouth silence regarding terrorist proxy attacks on Israel on such a frequent basis that the world media lacks no camera footage of all the attempts to provoke an Israeli response to attacks by the Iranian Islamic Regimes proxy armies at border incursions and rocket attacks.
