listening to ZionReader comment on item: "Godless Saracens Threatening Destruction": Submitted by Anne Julienne (Australia), Dec 14, 2020 at 21:43 I will say that you show a good sensitivity to the Song but I do remain troubled that you see this Scripture as pointing to "the marriage supper of the Lamb". This suggests that HaShem is no longer the bridegroom here but, instead, it is "Agnus Dei", the Lamb and son of God. In the next paragraph, you allow the Church to be an amplification but not a substitution of Zion. I don't mind this, on initial inspection, but what if Zion remains in love only with HaShem and not with Yeshua? What then? In my view, Her claim takes precedence. This is where She is asking that you listen to Her "no". I fully agree with your concluding paragraph. However, I would ask you to understand that today's Jewish people (by and large) do not want Yeshua as their groom. They've stated this position for two millennia and should, by now, be taken seriously. I especially ask that you yourself consult Yeshua Himself. Does He really want a bride who doesn't want Him? I myself doubt it. He just wasn't that kind of man. I am convinced that if you strongly hold to Yeshua's teachings, you will leave Zion (Jerusalem) to decide these matters for Herself. You won't pin Her down until She yields to your version of fulfillment. Note: Opinions expressed in comments are those of the authors alone and not necessarily those of Daniel Pipes.
