depends what is meant by "all this"

When I wrote "Europe's Jews paid the highest price for all this", I meant by "all this" the encircling threat of Islam on Europe. You seem to be taking the meaning more widely as simply the threat of Islam. In which case, you're probably correct.

However, it also depends on what one means by "the highest price". If one understands the Nazi holocaust as the culmination of a millennium of European anti-semitism and if one looks at the losses not in absolute terms but in terms of a proportion of the population, then Europe's Jews did pay the highest price.
