Democracies Being Government by Committee Never LastReader comment on item: Is Omar Alghabra of Canada's Liberal Party an Islamist? Submitted by M Tovey (United States), Jan 24, 2021 at 22:20 Democracies Being Government by Committee Never Last; Not with the Ancients; Not Now Either: Observer Prashant has at times, prognosticated many extremely provocative premises, this recent observation with compelling things to ponder; however. This reader, while generally acknowledging the points of his contention, offers a contrast. Even in times past, our eminent Dr. Pipes has offered and contended that while the world has suffered great offenses and ages old acts of terror at the hands of Muslims hordes attempting to drive out world-wide influences of Christianity with replacement theology, tempering Islam with a moderated sense of such influences might provide tolerance. Observer Prashant offers that his premises is hypothetical, so is most of the ideological opinions of decades, even centuries of philosophical moderations of religious interpretative studies, even in the study of Islam; and not one yet has borne out the very basic premise of the single most impractical reason of why religion in the human observation of it, will never work, especially in a political sense. Why, one might ask? Simple, which see. The imposition and practice of religion in the mortal sense has been appropriated by a false sense of the power that it potentially gives to those who use religion as a means to subjugate susceptible populations under a pride driven dream of superficial arrogance in bringing glory to one's self under that pride. Search the ancient annals and current history and where empire underlies the ambition, see that this is the case. Islam is no different, strangely as an antithetical outgrowth of previous Roman (read Babylonian) forms of empire (Sultanates/Caliphates), whom Muslims (especially later, the Shia) desire to replace. To Prashant's point, democracy is a tool; to be replaced, in and of itself, when the appropriate time to reveal renewed ambitions of empire. Turkey provides a better sample, having been tempted with democracy, later to be subjugated. It therefore, cannot be moderated in its original desires to subjugate the world in Ummah. Further, Islam cannot agree within itself as to how the world is to be subjugated when they fight amongst themselves as to how the Ummah is to be governed, especially while trying to infiltrate the democracies they seek to bring under an inconsistent form of sharia. Not until they can bring the Middle East under a dominant rule in Israel will they be able to convince a world of divided loyalties that they are able to maintain their influences; and that is never about to happen. How do we know this? Ask the Uighurs in China how Islam cannot help them there, along with other aspect of Israel's preparations to repel invaders. And it will not be Israel's democracy that saves them; not by any rational sense of her defense. Every one who knows better knows the Six Day war was not Israel' victory, but HaShem's. The next series of victories for Israel will not be democratic, but preparations for Israel's returning Kingdom.
