Europe - Already Compromised - Cannot Save Itself - Let Alone the Middle EastReader comment on item: "Godless Saracens Threatening Destruction": Submitted by M Tovey (United States), Mar 3, 2021 at 13:14 After quite some time of observing and reviewing tactical and strategic enforcements for more than 40 years, in local theatres and in pan-global expeditionary escapades, certainly one of the more problematic regions to gain any kind of perspective of causes and effects is the eastern Mediterranean and the territories that have beachfront properties facing southerly, westerly, and northerly; especially problematic is the place where the sunset view of societies desiring to conquer the center of the world come into view. Romanized Europe went through centuries of initially tribalized explorations of pre-empire developments before being subjected to the collectivization of fiefdom, principalities and kingdoms before being absorbed into the dominions of Rome. Only later, when the Islamic invasions came and precipitated differing visions of religious aspirations of domination did the strength of a combined empire present itself; even so, the eventual collapse caused by subsequent desires of ambitious domination fractured any true hope of a globally secure environment. When social collectivism entered the scene, any perception of religious cohesiveness was compromised for the secularist notion that peace could be obtained by adhering to emotionless democratic principles. They are still trying; they will not be able to avert the ultimate tragedy however, since truly, no one is willing to give up quarter; they cannot even agree to pay their fair share to NATO; why would they sacrifice for that which they do not care about except themselves. And is there any expectation any of them care about a rogue player in Ankara, let alone the rest of the Middle East. The greater risk to avoid should be the changing status of the Russian incursion into Syria for the impending isolation occurring there. The Iranian Islamic Regime's series of schemes there is about to dramatically change the entire paradigm of the region: and who will stop them? Of a certainty, not America. So, who is really going to count on Europe? Note: Opinions expressed in comments are those of the authors alone and not necessarily those of Daniel Pipes. Original writing only, please.
