Alliances are necessaryReader comment on item: "Godless Saracens Threatening Destruction": Submitted by Admiral Peter Kikareas (United States), Mar 8, 2021 at 23:50 Yes I agree that things are evolving in the region with an Islamist and Pan Turkism ideology and long ago strategy, through Iran and Turkey who are moving all around Jerusalem and Eastern Mediterranean. Turkey knows that needs to pass over Greece and Cyprus to be able to expand in the region. Iran comes from inland and now altogether with Turkey including Pakistan and other smaller Turkey's like countries have managed to make EU look like a puppet acting without sense and strategy. Russia takes advantages from those actions and let them continue harm NATO Counties, Israel and EU. The absence of a strong USA in the Middle East and Mediterranean brought these results so fast. Only with strong defense and energy agreements among Israel, Greece, Cyprus, Egypt, France, USA, Arab Countries and commitments of mutual defense these threats can be faced successfully. The Aegean with the thousands of Islands can be a strong decision maker when required to stop Russian and Turkey's sea flows to the open seas. . .
