Tainted Jurisprudence

One of the biggest allegations that can be made against the government of any nation is the loss of righteousness in its legal system. Just like it happened in the United States, Israel's system appears in trouble now; who trusts it? It is politically tainted; it cannot even be agreed that it is not biased.
When one reads through the Tanach, what was one of the main of multiple reasons that the Jewish Nation was chastised by her Eternal Sovereign? אֵין־קֹרֵא בְצֶדֶק וְאֵין נִשְׁפָּט בֶּאֱמוּנָה
That being the case, how does anyone expect an unbiased appointment for justice?
