Appropriation of Eschatological Observations in the TanakhReader comment on item: Can the Koran Solve Israel's Political Impasse? Submitted by M Tovey (United States), May 21, 2021 at 15:16 Over the years of being a reader of this forum of Dr. Pipes, as has been mentioned in previous exchanges, being exposed to the various inconsistencies of Quranic perceptions of religious manifestations started to fall into a more cognitive sense from much earlier times when attempting to understand why Islam thought it could replace HaMashiach with al-Mahdi; actually it is its own form of نسخ to and the attempts to negate the Messianic Gospel message of the prophesied return of the Holy One of Israel (Isaiah 49) in the Tanakh, also speaking to the promise in Jeremiah Ch. 30:3. Note: Opinions expressed in comments are those of the authors alone and not necessarily those of Daniel Pipes. Original writing only, please. Comments are screened and in some cases edited before posting. Reasoned disagreement is welcome but not comments that are scurrilous, off-topic, commercial, disparaging religions, or otherwise inappropriate.
