Brilliant questionReader comment on item: Who Won, Israel or Hamas? Submitted by Prashant (United States), Jun 10, 2021 at 22:49 Dear Dr Pipes, Eric Goodman made a brilliant point. He said that we cannot declare that Israel won because Hamas will attack again. In your reply to Eric's message you acknowledged that his message was logical. That reminds me to the case of Muhammad of Ghor. This guy is credited for establishing Islamic rule in India. He started his campaigns into India in 1175. His army won Delhi in 1206. It is said that during these 31 years Muslims suffered 13 defeats but their opponents did not destroy them completely. And, Muslims came back stronger every single time. Muhammad of Ghor could spend all his life in destroying cultures. He had no art projects to support, no children to raise into good citizens, no music to compose, and no poor to feed. His only purpose was to win and plunder infidel lands for his brand of stubborn monotheism. And, I dare say that Mohd of Ghor had the example of Mohd bin Abdallah to follow. Every period in the Islamic history is the Medinah period. Sometimes, Medinah becomes Medinah. Other times Baghdad, Tehran, Kabul, Multan become Medinah. Currently, Delhi and, the, so called, Palestine are Medinah. Muslims set their eyes on the pious city of Jerusalem nearly at the end of the 7th century. The war was started by the ancestors of Hamas. The war is still on. Eric Goodman is not only logical; he has historical evidence to back it. (I would like the Islamic apologists to refute me because my goal is to bring Islamic modus operendi to an end and I stand by Israel)
