Divide and ConquerReader comment on item: Who Won, Israel or Hamas? Submitted by Robert (United States), Jun 11, 2021 at 10:35 I do not see this as merely a Battle between Hamas and Israel. I see it in the context of a Civil War between the Arabs and Jews in Mandatory Palestine with Jews at War against the non-Neutral World, especially the Muslims and the Abrahamic Countries more particularly. So to tell if Israel is Winning or on a trajectory of Victory one needs to look everywhere, not only in Israel-Palestine. In Mathematics, Calculus gives as the Derivative by which we derive the Direction of a Function. Artificial Intelligence aside, we are forced to examine what the latest 11-day Battle caused in it's Surroundings and if that benefits Israel. I believe it does, and that once again Israel is moving towards Victory. (1) Egypt, a Peaceful Arab ally of Israel, is now effectively in charge of Gaza and Hamas! And it has NO INTEREST in seeing Muslim Brotherhood Hamas succeed. And Egypt's ruler Sisi is now closer to Israel than ever; Sisi sees the economic benefit of Egypt rebuilding Gaza. Of course, the fact that Egypt is Muslim and Arab and borders Gaza is all to the mutual benefit of Israel and Gaza. (2) Iran, and it's non-state clients in Iraq, Syria, and Lebanon, particularly Hezbollah, did NOT participate in a war from the North, probably knowing the disastrous effects it would on the further destruction of the economically weak Lebanon, besides it's physical destruction. And that military participation would jeopardize is "nuclear" negotiations with Biden, and also unpredictable consequences for the pending June 15, 2021, elections. (3) It does not appear likely that a 2-State Solution would take place (a loss for Israel). Rather, at least a 3-State Solution is more likely: by this I mean that Gaza and the West Bank will not (or never) Unite; Gaza will no move closer to Egypt, as you, Daniel Pipes, previously proposed or recommended; Gaza already is a DE FACTO Palestinian State. And the more it insists on destroying Israel, the better it is for Israel to keep Judea and Samaria (West Bank) - the aim of War is to Conquer and Keep Territory. (4) Turkey's hold on the Palestine Question and the Muslim Brotherhood is weakened by Egypt's rise as the successful intermediary between Gaza as Israel. (5) The rise of Worldwide Anti-Semitism is forcing Europe and the USA to recognize its Palestinian and Muslim roots. And in Europe, the 4,600 or more rockets launched from Gaza at Israel randomly at Israel, and indiscriminately at Civilians has made the European leadership side with Israel more than ever before. And in the USA the left-leaning Jews now recognize that sympathizing with Palestinians as Israeli "Victims" gives them no special immunity from anti-Semitic attacks. How long will the "Jihad Square" succeed in maintaining it's lie of ISLAMOPHOBIA is only limited by the political stupidity of the public in a democracy whose "news" is now processed by SOCIAL MEDIA. (5) There is more; but I have no time for it. Submitting....
