Not So Quick to be Dismissive of Eleven Days of May as Primer to Temple Mount CatastropheReader comment on item: Who Won, Israel or Hamas? Submitted by M Tovey (United States), Dec 19, 2021 at 18:05 As contentious as we might become regarding the primacy of claims by the various Islamic actors making claim against Israel as to who would be the trigger of the calamity pending the downfall of Muslim control (including the Waqf) in Jerusalem, this observer would not be so dismissive of the intent of the 'Eleven Days in May, in which the 'Muslim' antipathies regarding the Temple Mount were made known to be the proximal cause of the breakout rioting against the lack of Muslim tolerance for any non-Muslim presence on Mt. Moriah. In case too many others have missed it, this is a tell, one that will be a mistake for the region to miss.
