Some points to consider...Reader comment on item: Debating Campus Watch Submitted by Mike Nargizian (United States), Sep 29, 2002 at 03:33 I am a big fan of Mr. Pipes and agree there is ridiculous Left Wing Bias in general at College Campuses, and I'm no right winger either. This includes attitudes towards not only American Foreign Policy, but towards domestic issues as well. Generally college campuses I think have always been a place for "progressivism". In China the protestors at Tieneman Square were mainly University students. Further in the 60's the left wing forced the country to integrate and change the Jim Crow South. However, it has gotten out of hand now. The scales have shifted to the extreme left with College Professors dominating a Leftist Monopoly. Let me add this:1) This site should not and cannot become a Big Brother Tattle Tale site. 2) It needs to maintain an extremely high degree of professionalism and accuracy in its critiques and quotes without being a Thought Police threatening someone for expressing a view. It should be more to monitor professors who close the debate and stifle debate or punish opposing views as well as schools that don't maintain a balance of staff with opposing views...
