It's the Socialists!

Dr. Pipes,
I am a college freshman studying engineering. It is nothing related to Middle East Studies. However, my whole life I have planned on serving in the United States Air Force and I am currently working to become a commissioned officer. For this reason, I am very interested in foreign affairs; more particular'y the Middle East.

I personally have not seen or been aware of any anti-semitism on my campus although I understand it is a major problem in other areas. I believe campus-watch is a great program and I hope that it continues.

When a civilian contracts into the United States Military, we pledge an oath of allegiance to support and defend the Constitution against all enemies, foreign and domestic.... It is my understanding that members of our government also pledge a similar oath.

I believe the Constitution is being attacked from many aspects within, and without of our nation. I just recently read the policies and views of Democratic Socialists of America. It is specifically mentioned that "The persistence of anti-Semitism, for example, has no single explanation."

This is outright stupid. The document is specifying that there is discrimination and the Socialists claim to steer away from that. Unfortunately it is these lunatic left-wing socialist professors on campus that start all the anti-semitism attitudes in today's youth. They hate Israel because they believe Israel is infringing the rights of Palestinians when in reality Palestine attacked Israel. The Jews have always been the target of discrimination throughout history.
