צלבי קרס התגלו בסמוך לאנדרטה של יונה קפרא ז"ל ברחוב הרצל 108 רחובות. יונה קפרא ז"ל נרצח בשנת 1910 ברחובות על ידי ערבי ונחשב לנרצח הטרור הראשון של רחובות...

יונה קפרא ז"ל עבד בפרדסים של יונתן מקוב ואח"כ עבר לעבוד בנפחות אצל חסקלביץ.
מספר ימים לפני ראש השנה ביקש מעסיקו חסקלביץ כסף בעבור עבודתו כדי לקנות בגדים חדשים ומצרכים לחג. חסקלביץ הפנה את יונה לחשבון שלו בגדרה. יונה חזר ברגל מגדרה עם שלש מטבעות זהב טורקיות.
השומר הערבי של גדרה עקב אחרי יונה ובכניסה למושב רחובות רצח אותו בדם קר - ירה בו בראש והרג אותו במקום.

Swastikas were discovered near the monument to the late Yonah Kafra at 108 Herzl Street...

The late Yonah Kapra worked in the orchards of Yonatan Makov and later moved to work as a blacksmith at Haskelewitz.
A few days before Rosh Hashanah, he asked his employer Haskelevich for money for his work to buy new clothes and holiday supplies. Haskelevich referred Yona to his account in Gedera. Yona returned on foot from Gedera with three Turkish gold coins.
The Arab guard of Gedera followed Yona and at the entrance to Moshav Rehovot murdered him in cold blood - shot him in the head and killed him on the spot.
