Another book?Reader comment on item: Did a Conspiracy Theory Just Collapse? Submitted by Nicholas (United Kingdom), Aug 18, 2022 at 15:54 Dr Pipes, I hope this message finds you very well. Any plans to revisit the conspiracy topic in general or publish another book to add to the previous ones you did on conspiracies? I was a huge fan of Conspiracy and the Hidden Hand, excellent pieces of work in every regard, and. I was wondering if you plan to contribute anything more to the topic. I know you described it as a 'cesspool' in your YouTube video on the Covid conspiracies produced in 2020 with Stacey. On a separate and very sad note the Rushdie topic has dramatically resurfaced in a most heinous way. Do you really think it will influence the nuclear deal negotiations? I doubt it. Warmest regards to you, Nicholas Note: Opinions expressed in comments are those of the authors alone and not necessarily those of Daniel Pipes. Original writing only, please. Comments are screened and in some cases edited before posting. Reasoned disagreement is welcome but not comments that are scurrilous, off-topic, commercial, disparaging religions, or otherwise inappropriate. For complete regulations, see the "Guidelines for Reader Comments". Daniel Pipes replies: 1. Thank you for the kind words. Since writing those two books on conspiracy theories in the 1990s. I've generally stayed away from the topic, unless something special pops up, as I consider the Alex Jones trial to be. So, no, no third book on conspiracy theories. 2. No, I expect the new JCPOA to be signed. See https://www.danielpipes.org/21372/expect-a-new-iran-nuclear-deal. Reader comments (14) on this item |
