Dear Mr Pipes, please do not compare apples and pears.Reader comment on item: Did a Conspiracy Theory Just Collapse? Submitted by Amos Zot (Belgium), Aug 21, 2022 at 09:24 You wrote: "The trials provide a welcome interlude of sobriety and sanity in a time of incessant accusations of "fake news" and rampant conspiracy theories, coming from both the Right (e.g., claims the 2020 U.S. presidential election was rigged) and the Left (claims of Russian cooperation with the Trump campaign in 2016)." In fact we are sure that the claims of Russian cooperation with the Trump campaign in 2016 were fake news because there has been an important inquiry during years which could not prove these claims. On the contrary, there are many testimonies of problems during this 2020 presidential election and during the preparation of this election but there has not been a real and important inquiry about this.
