Muslims should consider leaving Islam

Dear Dr Pipes, the tweet below is from an Afghani female medical student who wished that she was not born in Afghanistan. The said girl was responding to the Talibani ban on women from attending universities.

I think all Muslims who sympathise with this student are tired of Islamic misdeeds should consider leaving Islam. Even if you live in the most oppressive Islamic nation, you can easily leave Islam. Just in the privacy of you home say the unshahada: I bear witness that Islam is doing and has done a lot of bad things. I hereby leave Islam. God please accept me out of Islam.

After that you can start following another religion or just follow the golden rule: I will be kind to others because I want others to be kind to me. Also, stop going to the mosque unless forced.

It can be as simple as that.
