"Islamic double-talk"Reader comment on item: Islamists, Get Out Submitted by Lactantius (United Kingdom), Jan 18, 2006 at 08:54 Dear ReubenI've only just found your very perceptive comment "Australia in Denial," and you make a crucial observation in referring to Islamic "double-talk," but it's much worse than only deceiving the media, the intention of the "double-talkers" is to deceive those listening non-Muslims too. Deception lies at the very heart of Islam, with the morality of lying being one of the most confusing aspects of Islamic thought and, as a result, creates the impression that whether a person is truthful, or deceitful, depends entirely on the 'ethics' of the situation, and Muhammad the prophet of Islam, treated truth and deception according to his own style of situational ethics, condoning, and actually permitting lying to further his goals, condoning lying and murder when it suited his purposes. It should come as no surprise therefore, that the Qur'anic Allah (whoever he is), is good at lying, and according to the Qu'ran, Allah schemes, "and is the best of schemers" Surah's 3:54 and 8:30 with the term for scheme in Arabic being makara which denotes one who is a deceiver, one who is conniving, a schemer. It is always used in a negative sense. Allah is thus seen as the best of deceivers, the premiere schemer and conniving one. "Taqiyya" is a situational ‘ethic' commanded of Muslims. It is mendacity or duplicity, literally lying in Allah's cause. "Kithman" being a special variant of taqiyya, the command that Shia Muslims conceal their religious affiliation from non-Shia's by lying, with Allah's servants hoping to "surely gain sawab" (meaning, "a gift from Allah in afterlife"), based on their Islamic "double-talk"performances" (http://www.geocities.com/freedombangla/ramadanupd.htm) Compare and contrast the Qur'anic Allah with the God of the Bible who cannot lie, the God revealed in the printed Word of the Bible, and supremely in the living, loving Word of God, the Lord Jesus Christ, cannot lie, that's right, He can't lie, or do anything else which as "the way, the truth and the life" (John 14:6) is contary to His Character:- "a faith and knowledge resting on the hope of eternal life, which God, who does not lie, promised before the beginning of time," Titus 1:2 "............so that, by two unchangeable things in which it is impossible for God to lie, we who have fled to take hold of the hope offered to us may be greatly encouraged. We have this hope as an anchor for the soul............" Hebrews 6:18-19 There are definitely things the God described in the Bible cannot do, and lying is one of them, He and the Qur'anic Allah cannot therefore be the same person. Period. It is impossible for the God revealed in the pages of the Bible and supremely revealed in Jesus Christ to lie. He cannot break an unconditional promise He has said He will fulfil. "God is not a man, that He should lie.He is not a human, that He should change His mind. Has He ever spoken and failed to act? Has He ever promised and not carried it through?" Numbers 23:19 "He is the Rock; His work is perfect. Everything He does is just and fair. He is a faithful God who does no wrong; how just and upright is He." Deuteronomy 32:4 Islamic deception is so, so, important to be aware of Reuben, often demonstrated in the mantras that "Islam is peaceful and peaceloving, this terrorism has nothing to do with Islam," that the Islamic apologists trot out after every further act of Islamic violence and terrorism, and in saying "................some quotation like 'he that saves a life saves the world entire etc etc' is cited for good measure....................." you mention a common misquotation of Muslims, designed to deceive those non-Muslims who don't know any better. This is a partial quotation of Qur'anic Surah 5:32, and this partial quotation lends support to the much-quoted mantra that "Islam is peaceful and peaceloving," whereas this is what Surah 5:32&33 says in its entirety, using the full and unexpurgated version (Abdullah Yusuf Ali's translation), and just look at how it reads now:- "On that account: We ordained for the Children of Israel that if any one slew a person - unless it be for murder or for spreading mischief in the land - it would be as if he slew the whole people: and if any one saved a life, it would be as if he saved the life of the whole people. Then although there came to them Our apostles with clear signs, yet, even after that, many of them continued to commit excesses in the land. The punishment of those who wage war against Allah and His Apostle, and strive with might and main for mischief through the land is: execution, or crucifixion, or the cutting off of hands and feet from opposite sides, or exile from the land: that is their disgrace in this world, and a heavy punishment is theirs in the Hereafter;" Aya 33 lists a selection of savage punishments for those who fight the Muslims and create "mischief" (or in some translations "corruption") in the land, punishments which include execution, crucifixion and amputation. What kind of "mischief in the land" could merit such a reaction? Could it be interpreted as secularism, democracy and other non-Islamic values in a land? Could the "murder" be the killing of Muslims in Iraq? Just as importantly, the Muslims who keep quoting the expurgated form of this verse realize just what a deception they are imposing on their non-Muslim listeners, but most of them don't. So what's to be done Reuben, in these secular hedonistic post-modern democracies of ours, which wrongly deny that objective truth exists, when we are faced with the servants of Allah? First off, recognise what the Islamic objective is, which is to re-establish the Caliphate over a world brought under the rule of Islam, and subject to Shariah law, as Daniel Pipes documents in his recent weblog:- The Caliphate December 12, 2005 http://www.danielpipes.org/blog/548 in which he quotes Lieutenat General John Abizaid, Head of US Central Command saying:- "They will try to re-establish a caliphate throughout the entire Muslim world," he told the House Armed Services Committee in September, adding that the caliphate's goals would include the destruction of Israel. "Just as we had the opportunity to learn what the Nazis were going to do, from Hitler's world in ‘Mein Kampf,'" General Abizaid said, "we need to learn what these people intend to do from their own words." and having recognised that Islam has declared war on the West, what's to be done in response? As a deeply committed follower of Jesus Christ, Who is indeed "The Prince of Peace," I firmly believe that bombs, bullets, battleships, cruise missiles etc. will not defeat the Islam of Muhammad, and that only the glorious Gospel of Grace can, and will defeat it, provided that the Christian church wakens up to the reality of what Islam really is, and what its intentions are. I also firmly believe that 9/11 and 07/07 were wake-up calls to the Christian church, which rather than wakening up and meeting the formidable challenge of Islam in the public square, and overcoming it with the Gospel of Grace, as Pastors Daniel Scott and Danny Nahlia attempted to do in the State of Victoria, have pressed the snooze-button and gone back to sleep. In the United Kingdom, the Prime Minister and his senior colleagues refer to "an evil ideology," and so the Islam of Muhammad is, so come on church, waken up!! and win this ideological war that Islam has declared on Western secular democracies, with the good, good news of the Gospel of Grace. Lactantius (Lucius Caecilius Firmianus Lactantius, was a Christian apologist of the 4th Century)
