Islam needs to grow upReader comment on item: Militant Islam Is Put In Class With Communism, Fascism Submitted by Joe (Canada), Feb 5, 2006 at 16:54 There are many good Muslims out there, who mean no harm to anyone and just want to be left alone. But the militant ones, give cause to think that Islam as a religion has to stop living in the past and grow up. The world doesn't want to bring down their religion. It seems that wherever Muslims congregate in large numbers, there's trouble. The religion in its most militant form, conflicts with other religions and cultures. It's high time the leaders of Islam adopted a more mature world view. Islam has to come to grips with the rest of the world. We don't live in the 11th century, the 14th or even the 18th. It's the 21st century. The more radical militant Islam preaches Jihaad and violence against the West, the more that its followers will become isolated from the world community.
