Catholic views on the Bible

Sir,

You seem very scholarly in your approach but you should do more research on Catholic beliefs. We refer to the bible as Holy Scripture, use both old testament and new testament at every Mass, and consider the bible the word of God. How do you not get this? Its all about Jesus !

The bible is the written word of the accounts of Jesus and the early church leaders that became known as the catholic religion. The bible is historically about catholic peoples that make up the Catholic church, which is Christ's Church. Not Romes, the Vatican, or any member. We are one body.

It is sad that your intellect is being used to modify history and delude the salvation of souls. I will pray for you.

Show one example of where the Mass does literally adhere to Jesus teaching the apostles at the last supper. The sacraments and authority he gave to Peter simple has endured through time which seems to upset many peoples who think religion should be updated to fit the times. How many times has your church completely changed its doctrine? Show one example of where the Catholic faith has ever changed one single doctrine.
