Earlbird, it's nice to see someone esle who understandsReader comment on item: Civil war likely in Iraq: Pipes Submitted by Jason (United States), Mar 16, 2006 at 13:09 Earlbird said:"But Islam, as practiced in Islam dominated societies, as you know, goes far, far beyond that. Women are little more than men's property." BINGO!!!!! Unfortunarely for Harrak and his kind, more and more of us in the West now understand the difference between the Islam taught in the Koran, and the Islam practiced in most Muslim countries. Harrak and his kind are poster-children for all that has gone wrong with Islam. Anyone who has done any extensive study of the Koran understands that it teaches a nearly-absolute equality of the sexes. The mandates of the Koran are followed in a single Islamic nation on Earth (Afghanistan and Iraq excluded, for the moment). Every Muslim head-of-state is a blasphemer and a heretic. The people of Islam need to rise up and execute the apostates. Most of the World's Muslims have not submitted to God, but to apostate human leaders. Also, Shari'ah law and Figh are laws based entirely on Arabic tradition, and have little valid connection to the law of the Koran. Again, every Muslim head-of-state is a blasphemer and a heretic for using Shari'ah as a basis for their legal systems. Even Shari'ah has been debased. It originally had fives levels of rules: prescribed (mandated), recommended, permissible, disliked and unlawful. Today, in actual practice, it is down to two: prescribed (mandated) and unlawful. And these two examples are only the tip of the iceberg. The Islamic world is a nation of blasphemers and heretics. They refuse to study their own scripture and learn the truth abotu their faith. They accept, without question, the word of their imams and ayatollahs. It is real a shame when the scholars who have studied the Koran the most, and have the greatest understanding of how great a piece of religious literature it is, all live outside the Muslim world. What makes the shame of the Muslim world so totlally complete is that probably close to half of those scholars are not even Muslim. Earlybird, when you said "Muslims are Muslims own worst enemy.", you summed up every problem Islam has in a single sentence.
