Your argument itself is a BIG holeReader comment on item: Casey, Santorum and Jerusalem Submitted by true believer (India), Jun 19, 2006 at 10:07 Your argument of Christians depending on moslems to protect them and their legacy in Jerusalem is itself is a BIG hole. >>You said "yeah right..the only people who attacked the church of nativity are the Jewish Extremists.." They were forced to do it to get to the Islamic terrorists holed up inside. The terrorists were peeing around the corners of the church, using papers from the holy bible as toilet paper and getting drunk on the holy wine kept for the eucharistic mass. The sacking of the pilgrimage hospice in Jerusalem and destruction the Church of the Holy Sepulchre also in Jerusalem in 1009 by the moslem Fatimid caliph al-Hakim bi-Amr Allah was the first attack on a Christian shrine in Jerusalem. It is history long past gone but I am quoting it for your benefit. >>You said "Nowadays Egyptian American friend government marginalizes the role of the coptic culture..yet this government is secular and American friendly" It is not the government but a bunch of radical islamists who are against the coptic culture, pyramids, ancient buildings and statues and all and are threatening to kill tourists and blow up Egypt's heritage. Also coptic Christians are being attacked by these very fanatics. Unfortunately it is all about religion. Serbs killing Croats and vice versa, Catholics and protestants killing each other in Ireland does not moslems and Christians have always fought each other and continut to this day. Moslems never faced dhimmitude under moslems , did they ? Just because the Turks killed Arabs does not make them great secualr rulers any more than making Chengez Khan one for killing Moslems inside the Persian empire. Or justify the Armenian genocide for that matter. The Armenian genocide happened as recently as between 1915 to 1930. So much for "your hole in my argument" theory. >>You said "Moroccan Jews are better treated in Morocco than in Israel" Again that familiar old rant ? Arabs in Jerusalem are treated better than Palestinians in Arab countries, they even hold elected seats to the Israeli Knesset. I believe that Moroccan Jews are treated better than black african moslems in Sudan. >>You said "The Zionist movement has no place for the Christian legacy. The Islamic movement does really" Really ? What legacy are you talking about ? That lie propogated by Islam about Jesus NOT being the son of God and that some one else died in His place ? >>You said "I want you to switch from rational to radical....to the way you perform better.." No Thanks. Unlike you I prefer to retain my sanity. Radical behavior, empty sounding rhetoric and propogation of half truths suit "you" the best. You have a "tradition" of excelling in these areas. So instead of expecting me to choke on your stale proverbs or mammas old tales, dish out something better next time.
