What about Arab countries?

Which country in the Middle east was created with the consent of the majority of the population?

Iraq? This was a British colonial creation out of the 3 Ottomon provinces in the aftermath of WW1. British put in charge Sunni minority against the wishes of Shias and Kurds

Jordon? Ditto. The British put as King of Jordon a saudi exile.

Saudi Arabia? It was created by the military conquest of the whole of Arabian peninsula by Saudi family and suppressing all other Arabian tribes.

None of the countries in ME apart from Israel have anything like representative government
