Congressional Investigation of State Dept.Reader comment on item: State's Terror Untruths Submitted by R. Levine (United States), May 29, 2002 at 20:02 Thank you for shedding light on the State Dept's annual obfuscation of Islamic terror -- particularly terror against Israeli civilians who, in the State Department's view, seem not to have the same status as civilians of other nationalities. I note that another comment on your article has asked why there have been no congressional hearings on the persistent pro-Arab (indeed, pro-Arafat) bias (and concommitant vicious anti-Israel bias) that pervades our State Department. Good question. I have written my senators and asked for precisely such hearings. I suggest that everyone do the same. Whose State Department is it, anyway?
