American media KNOW they are shills for Arabic propaganda, and they WANT to make Israel look bad.

I cannot tell you how many media outlets I contacted regarding the phony "massacre" at Qana, urging them to investigate and to NOT simply pass along whatever the Arab propaganda machine said. Adnan Hajj was the same photographer who staged all of the photos and photo ops for the media. The media KNEW about the reports coming out of Qana that the Israeli raid finished at 00:30 on Sunday morning, but the building collapsed eight hours later. Yet, not a single journalist bothered to ask why the time gap.

The media KNEW about the reports coming from French journalists who said that Hezbollah had moved crippled children into the basement of the buildng at Qana. The media KNEW that the roof of the building was still intact, and that it looked like it had been blown out from the bottom up. Yet, nobody said, "Boo." The media KNEW that the "death toll" originally reported as being at least 50 to 60 women and children, was revised to be 28 dead, but despite the glaring disparity, the media CONTINUED to refer to the building that "Israeli jets bombed on Sunday."

AND, for two weeks afterwards, despite hundreds of bloggers reporting otherwise, they CONTINUED to reference Qana as either a "Massacre," or, at least "an Israeli military mistake." Remember the Jenin "massacre" where supposedly 200 civilians were killed, but, in reality, only 23 terrorists died? Years later, the media STILL calls Jenin a "massacre."

TONIGHT, on CBS Evening News (one of the less Arab-biased outlets), NOT ONE SINGLE REPORT ON THE DEATHS AND DAMAGES IN ISRAEL CAUSED BY 4,000 HEZBOLLAH ROCKETS!! The entire Middle East report was devoted to the "terrible damage to all of Lebanon" (only 1% of the country was attacked) that "set the country back 25 years," and will cost "2.5 billion to repair" according to the news reporters. Of course, all of these "Facts" are pure rubbish, as was the closing "photo op" of an old, Lebanese woman looking skyward for help. ALL of it was premeditated, yellow journalism and, in no way, represents what Walter Cronkite called, "And that's the news."

Cronkite and Edward R. Murrow are probably turning cartwheels in their graves at what has become of news reporting. Perhaps the worst offender -- even worse than the Crescent News Network (CNN) -- is FOXNEWS because they have the gall to advertise themselves as "Fair and Balanced." They are about as "Fair and Balanced" as the Sha'ria judge who personally hanged a mentally disturbed teenager from a crane for tghe crime of being raped by three Muslim "men."

Thank God for blogs, and thank God for honest men like Daniel Pipes who refuse to let the Western media outlets off the hook.
