Democracy implies equal rights for everybody, men and women of all ethnic and other backgrounds. It also allows for due processes of law and by and large implies a rational and non-religious approach to law-making and administration.

GM's Shria laws, which he is so keen to be exported or thrust upon the world, is an antithesis of all of this. It is derived from a 7th century Arab tribal code, which considers women as second class citizens , non-Muslims as subhumans and so on, thieves' hands to be cut off-adulterers to be stoned to death and son. . GM knows all this very well as anyone else that Sharia is implemeted in countris like Saudi Arabia and Iran in all gory details and partly in India.

Where is the demonization in this? It is just a historical fact. If Muslims like GM value a 7th century Arab tribal code as the ideal, why should the rest of the world accomodate them?

I am referring to most parts of the world where there are large immigrants. Arabs have immigrated in tens of thousands to countries such as France or Britain or the US. Why don't they migrate to countries such a saudi Arabia with which they share the the language, ethnicity, religion and culture? Why do they go to countries like Denmark and moan prophet Mohammed is insulted? Not only that; a large portion of social welfare money goes to Muslims. In Briatin, Muslims are 2% of the population, but 8% of the prison population. Majority of them are on government support,.

To give a simple example, read http://www.danielpipes.org/article/450 "Something rotten in Denmark" . In Denmark, mostly Muslim immigrants "consume upwards of 40 percent of the welfare spending". This did not prevent the Danish Muslims from inciting the other muslim countries into Mohammed Cartoons frenzy. You can read article after article giving the grim statistics of Muslim immigrants in many countries in many western countries eating up tax payers money in disproportionate amount, even while demanding medievel practices like Sharia or going on suicide jihads..

Since you metioned India, yes India also provides a good example of how parasitism has been the default mode of many Muslims. Paksiatan was demanded by many Indian muslims, but when Pakistan came into being most of them stayed in India demanding sharia instead of migrating to Pakistan. It is estimated that that more than 10 million Bangladeshi muslims have illegally entered India and stayed in India for the last 30 years. Muslim states are collapsing thanks to Islam with the result of large scale emigration of Muslims to non-Muslim countries where they remian in their religious and moral ghetto even while benefitting from secular countries.

If it is www.danielpipes.org, this is not a Jewish website; this is personal website of Daniel Pipes, which discusses international terrorism and Middle east.. I have no more "privilege" than you or anyone else. What makes you think that I have some privilege in this website.? can you explain in more detail? Dr.Pipes, has allowed all kinds of opinions including Islamist ones. You can't deny that in international terrorism that Muslims have a monopoly nowadays.

Hindus have been the oldest group of victims of Islamic terrorism which started with Mohammed Bin Kasim and continued through Ghori, Ghazni, Aurangazeb and countless others. Hindus have sometimes successfully resisted and sometimes succumbed to islamic terrorisn over the last 1300 years. The US s the latest victim of Islamic terrorism; and Israel has been at the receiving ed from it's inception for the last 50 years. It is no wonder and no secret that Hindus do have sympathy for other victims of islamic terrorism
