Just like in the Balkans

I told Jewish friends of mine in the 1990s that eventually the media will try to Serbianize Israel. Clearly during the last Balkan wars the Serbs were brutal, but so were the Croatians and especially the Bosnian Muslims in Bosnia and the Albanian Muslims in Kosovo. Yet, the media reported daily on stories that were often false, exagerrated, filled with doctored pictures, etc.

People forget that before the Serbian assault on Srebrenica, the Muslims butchered 2500-3000 Serb civilians in the area in ritual Jihadist manners such as beheadings and live burnings. The Muslim leader, Nasir Oric, just got 2 years for this at the Hague and is free because of time spent waiting for trial.

I am pleased that the Israelis managed to avoid complete Serbianization but the media full court press was definitely on. One can easily intepret the Koran to support lying to the media as a way to further the cause of politicized Islam.
