daniel pipes - i am surprised of your interest in this topic. ... But guess what - Diouf is destorting when she is..... idealizing Islam in inappropriate and even anachronistic ways; thus, she calls Islam "democratic and progressive in a society that was despotic, repressive, tyrannical, and racist."
