Jihad is warfareReader comment on item: Arguing over "Jihad and the Professors" Submitted by Chuck (United States), Feb 12, 2003 at 00:02 Daniel Pipes is right on in saying Jihad is warfare. He isn't the only one to "drop the dime" on Islam. In all four schools of Islam, there is Jihad, war against non-believers. That's you and me to all you non-Muslims. In Islam the world is divided simply between two poles, war and peace. The world of peace, of course, is Islam. The world of war is all those non-Muslim areas of the globe yet to be conquered. Please read: Islam Unveiled: Disturbing Questions About the World's Fastest Growing Faith, by Robert Spencer. http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/tg/detail/-/1893554589/ref=pd_sim_books_4/002-6100850-3546404?v=glance&s=books Islam and Dhimmitude: Where Civilizations Collide, by Bat Yeor. http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/tg/detail/-/0838639437/qid=1045025762/sr=1-1/ref=sr_1_1/002-6100850-3546404?v=glance&s=books Ivory Towers on Sand: The Failure of Middle Eastern Studies in America, by Martin Kramer. http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/tg/detail/-/0944029493/qid=1045025626/sr=8-1/ref=sr_8_1/002-6100850-3546404?v=glance&s=books&n=507846 Note: Opinions expressed in comments are those of the authors alone and not necessarily those of Daniel Pipes.
