Hatred vs. toleranceReader comment on item: Arguing over "Jihad and the Professors" Submitted by pdc5210` (United States), May 19, 2003 at 05:34 Can the people of the world not see what is right under our noses? Everywhere around the globe today that you find hatred you will find Islam. Everywhere you find violence you find Islam. Almost anywhere there is war, strife and violence in the world today there you will find Islam! You can call it radical Islam all you like but Islam basically is radical to its core with no tolerance of opposing views.Yet the very same liberals of America that would tell us to be "tolerant" of Muslims are the very same people who would teach us to be tolerant on many great matters of our society, such as homosexuality, crime, separation of church and state. Yet anywhere that Muslims control a state or territory there is no tolerance for anything that our great liberals tout! No freedom of speech, freedom of press. No equal rights, especially if you are a woman...
