Militant Islam is not simply an exclusionist's take on Islam. It's goal is to refute history and raise up an "ism" that purports to return Islam to the glory days of Islamic colonialism. Something for which they, the militants, vilify the "West" . Militant Islam has by it's actions put sect against sect and created power vacuums and murderous violence. Militant Islam has done far more reprehensible damage to Islam that it could do to Western civilization.

Innocent Muslims have become pariah in western civilization and many see them as destroyers not contributors to the society that these Muslims have come to partake. No matter which society or civilization one may refer to, trust is an essential element. Militant Islam has placed the average Muslim into the sphere of "fifth columnist and cultural spy. The usurper of peaceful society. THE evil.
