to put it very simply, abdullah--its like this. say you have ten apples, and you learn that two of them are poisonous, and probably a third, are you going to take a chance and eat one hoping that you dont get a poisonous one?--or are you going to throw them all out?-- most of us feel the same way about muslims-- we just cant take a chance on you. if we saw the good apples pointing out the bad apples--our attitude would change, but--like the apples--most moderate muslims remain mute. i hope this helps you understand our attitude.
