To Reut Cohen, a Question

Dear Reut Cohen:

Thank you in advance for reading my message.

In your opinion, and considering your experience, I have a question:

Does it help, effectively speaking, or better saying operationally speaking, to write to the Chancellor Dr. Michael Drake asking him, for to say, to adopt a complete different approach in regards to these kinds of disruptions, against Israel in its majority, by using UC Irvine Values as a starting point for presenting the reasons why such a thing, in the United States of America, should be avoided?

A letter sent by standard mail, really reaches his desk?

I write b/c he looks to be a very reasonable and fine man, taking in consideration also his brilliant resume.

He is really an intellectual and a scholar, and does not look to be an Islamic Puppet of the MSU and MSA either controlled by fear or money. He simply does not need them, unlike many others deans and chancellors, with non brilliant at all resumes and intellectual capacity/activity, thus visible bureaucrats and puppets.

Suggesting as a "good will' and step for an initial empathy for to say, connection in foreign countries with authorities in the Ophthalmology Field would help? B/c it is his primarily passion. Just that I have in my family a very respected doctor, specialist in the Ophthalmology Filed, directly connected to the most well known Ophthalmology Doctor/ Surgeon , who happens to be one of the most important members in the Health Ministry department in Brazil.

Chancellor Drake, as far as I understand, implemented what is called The Chancellor's Distinguished Fellows Series.

This type of connection would be both excellent to his initiative at the University and to the health department in research.

And, this doctor supports a lot Israel, in the way the pro supporters of Israel follow.

Just a way of to find empathy.

: Forgive me for my ignorance. Can you explain why Doctor's Pipe name was not included in the cycle of lectures at the "Chancellor's Distinguished Fellows Series".
