Sofa- you are on the trackReader comment on item: My Disrupted Talk at the University of California-Irvine Submitted by Ynna (United States), Feb 24, 2007 at 04:25 I'll try to summarize this long saga as a pattern in the INS, Sofa. Foreign students are the best "meal" universities in this country can have. They are obligated, no matter what nationality, to pay 4 times more than any American student (for example: despite to the fact that I came completely legal to this country, working for a company that brought me to work here from my mother country), I decided to engage in a new undergraduate studies. When students were paying 600 dollars a quarter, I was paying 2,700 dollars for the same quarter. When they started to pay 1,500, I was paying 6,200 a quarter, with no rights at that point to work in the US in the new area. While "poor" refugees from Islamic Lands even cry to pay miserable 1,500 dollars a quarter, begging for your Financial Aid system to "help" them, along with thousands of scholarships, I didn't have neither rights to financial Aid, nor to Scholarships (despite to the fact that due to my outstanding performance they granted me a waive of 1,500 dollars). So all nationalities, with student Visa "F-1" have to follow this pattern. What happens is that Saudi Arabia sponsors a lot of international students, for the purpose of implementing in the US their suicidal agenda against Israel. Mostly, these students are, in my opinion, aberrantly inferior in sciences, going many of them to humanities, for what there are less requirements, in general lines. Many international students prefer today to go to England, for what in dollars, the total amount corresponds to aprx. 45 % for a four years University, (55 % cheaper than in the US). And many yet go to New Zealand and Australia, where they pay from 40 % to 45 % than they would pay in the US- so American Universities due to their extreme greed, bad engineered machine and many students crying for a sponsor, welcome above everything International Students, from any nationality- as long as you PAY. The bottom line, I ended up paying for me and more 3 American students. They say that International students have the right to work in the University, however, mostly it is a fallacy. They have to compete with "poor" refugees from Pakistan, and other Islamic countries, for what they have priority in the "tree". When you intend to get a BS in engineering for example, you firstly finish what they call Associate of Sciences. After that, the INS grants you the "right" to work for one year, a program called "Optional Training", which mostly grants you about 9 months of work, b/c you need the INS corroboration, which involves bureaucracy and you need a sponsor company in the area of application. Then after that, you can finish your 4 years degree and work for one year plus to get "experience". This is a pattern that delineates all International Students. In this last year of work, if a company is interested on you and do not find an "American" who can fulfill in the same way what you do, then they request from the INS the so called Visa H-1, foreign worker, which can be extended for 3 years, and 3 years plus, time enough to start the Labor Certification, and later on the Permanent residence and the Green card program. Many Saudis and Muslims in general stay here, b/c companies owned or, controlled by Islamists "hire" them and "prove" to the INS that they need them. For example, they need an engineer, who speaks perfectly Arabic and Persian…they already find a "way" to stay in the US. The "quota" for every sponsorship is relative, depending of the country, and the corroboration for the Green Card is also relative. For India for example it takes 3 years, for Brazil 1 year and 2 months, etc… Sometimes the Saudis stay here for 6 years for the H-1, and then start the Labor certification, permanent residence and green card program. Then, you calculate that already passed almost 7-8 years, time enough to "get Married" to an American or explode your country. The fact is that the greed of American Universities (Even when the govnt grants more financial aid, the tuition fees increases), along with their despair for new "beefs" to be exploited, and so many "poor" refugees parasitizing your system, along with the bad engineered system these Universities carry, and finally their despair for losing international students to other English speaker countries, favor the coming of these Islamic fascists. One more thing: American Universities have spread the fame of having a lot of mess on campus, very politicized and a bad fame in terms of level of education which also diverts International students from coming to America. They also want to learn a perfect English, which is not taught on campus: Too many teachers "understand": foreigners and their difficulties, so do not make it imperative to speak very well the language, which in my opinion, is deplorable. Any further questions, contact me. BTW, I had very good "proposal" from the dean of my University to go to my country and make "propaganda" and indoctrination towards bringing students to that University, for a share of the profits. "Gisheft" (You know Yiddish, don't you….)…. And, to pay for the university, at that time I was a foreigner, but to pay for the social security along with all requirements, me and my husband were very Americans, even before getting residency.- and they "looove" Jews, paying for this astonishing fees. We have a good fame of being excellent payers, but to listen to our voice in regards to the Chutzpah of the MSA and MSU: "…it is a free country- perhaps in your country it is not like this, but in America, even if it is a lie, they can speak up against Israel…" (Especially when they are Saudis- just off records).
