Disturbance at the Irvine Campus meetingReader comment on item: Speaker Shouted Down at U.C.-Irvine Submitted by Faqi (United States), Feb 8, 2007 at 03:35 This is disgraceful. The University should have called this meeting to order by expelling the Muslim demonstrators from the hall immediately. The problem with Muslims is, they use "bully tactics" to put fear into non-muslims. Unfortunately, civilized people in the western countries tolerate their nonsense. It's time we take a stand and tell these Muslim thugs where to get off. I hope they video taped the demonstrators so that they could identify them in the future. I hope if any of them are students of the Campus they should be called to account for their actions and others who are not ,should be reported to the authorities as they had no business to create a fracas at an institution of learning. We should show them that in civilized societies we do not behave as in Muslim societies, where intimidation and thuggery is common place and is a daily occourance - just read the papers world wide. If any of the Muslims who came to this meeting, had any decency ( most of them do not even know the meaning of the word), they could like civilized people questioned Dr. Pipes at the end. What they stated outside the hall is a threat to all civil society. In other words our compatriots slaughter/behead people like you; but for the moment we who live here will bide our time.
