Re: Peter ArnettReader comment on item: Iraq: What's Next? Submitted by Barbara Mireau (United States), Mar 31, 2003 at 07:37 I am just appalled at Peter Arnett for doing the interview on Iraqi TV yesterday. What is wrong with this man!!! I do not know where comments go, but if MSNBC does review them, I like to tell them that I usually enjoy their coverage but if I see Peter Arnett on this station, I will never look at MSNBC again.I understand MSNBC was not aware of this interview but after seeing it, they should dismiss Peter Arnett. I am a 65 year old grandmother and I did not like his reporting in the first Gulf war, do not understand why he's allowed to comment on our "plans" when some of our Generals do not even know our "plans". He is disgusting and should not be called an American. Every time I see him come on, I hold my breath wondering how he will put America down next. I am very lucky not to have any of my family over in Iraq but I just can't imagine how our soldiers and their families feel when they hear such an ignorant man commenting on our beloved country and beloved citizens. PLEASE TAKE PETER ARNETT OFF THE AIR!!! Thank you.
