Arnett's firing is absurdReader comment on item: Iraq: What's Next? Submitted by wpc (United States), Mar 31, 2003 at 18:05 I think that it is absolutely absurd that NBC would fire Mr. Arnett for his interview. What the mainstream media and the administration don't want us to know is 'the truth', and Mr. Arnett was telling it, from the iraqi people's point of view. We are not being given the 'real' stories of shattered and broken lives in iraq. As usual the American public believes what they are being told. When you control what people see, you control what people think, and if people in this country don't take the initiative to look deeper into a story they will just accept what the major news and cable networks tell them. There are ALWAYS 3 sides to every story. Our side, their side, and truth. It's out there, just read between the lines.
