We must de-islamisize this country as a matter of urgencyReader comment on item: [Fort Dix and] Jihad in Jersey Submitted by Roosevelt's Disciple (United States), May 28, 2007 at 13:49 It's hard to tell though whether such an approach wouldn't strengthen the resolve of muslims or not. I do agree that we should use it, but somehow I think this will not be enough. -i understand where you are coming from, but we must stop falling into the trap of being concerned whether something will 'strengthen the resolve of muslims' or 'create more terrorists' or 'create more anti-american sentiment'. It doesn't matter what we do or what happens muslims will keep fighting their tireless campaign to islamisize this country. Anything that resists islam in any way is a good thing regardless of how muslims react to it. If muslims get the message that we are serious about defeating islam they will shrink and cower. As mentioned in an earlier post, I already try to avoid giving my money to businesses that employ muslims. Perhaps, the next step is to inform the business owners when we feel uncomfortable or insecure around muslims. The problem is that there is a general apathy running through society, which, combined with the natural fear of confrontation, prevents most people from speaking out against islam or complaining. Hell, we are now in danger of being sued and our names revealed when we report suspicious behavior on airlines. -You are my hero! Boycotting businesses that employ muslims is a brilliant idea! I will be doing the same from now on...and you're idea about informing business owners of our insecurities and discomfort is superb. Whenever I am just about to confirm a hotel room, airline ticket or a reservation at a restaurant I will ask if there are any muslim employees and then cancel the reservation if they say yes. It is our right to not spend our money at businesses that hire people who worship a paedopile and 'want to see Israel wiped off the map' or support those that do by identifying themselves as a muslim. In addition to the steps you suggest, I think there should be anti-muslim rallies on the streets - as massive as possible. I realize it goes against the grain of modern Western thinking to rally against a religion - seems unfair and unethical. Except for the fact that there is a positive correlation between islam and terrorism. In that light, public rallies against islam should not be viewed as anything worse than rallies against racism, neo-nazism, etc. -Yes, there should be rallies, no matter how small. Demonstrations of even 20-30 people at political events that have cameras can be extremely effective...
